Can someone tell me what happened? I feel like she must be skitzo and just off her meds and he is really as good as he seems......What happened..Is Michael a villain? Or is Jamie delusional?

Yes, Michael is a total prickwad. His partner in crime was the so-called detective lady. The sexy attorney that worked for the firm helps get Jamie out of the mental institution, and then Jamie goes to Michael's high school reunion. When she searched the house for the gun, she found the invitation with his real name on it. After going to the reunion, she finds out about Michael's mother being alive, and it turns out she was the lady that was pretending to be his Nanny. She said she did it for him because he liked to impress the ladies that way. In the end, Jamie arranges a meeting with Michael at their home. Upon entering the house, she confronts Michael only to be met with "Lacey" his skanky partner in crime. Jamie begs for the life of her unborn child, she is not really pregnant, and in the middle of it Lacey goes to shoot Jamie and Michael jumps to get her out of the way, and Lacey ends up killing him. The police come in and rescue Jamie and take Lacey off to jail. In the end, the good looking lawyer quits the firm because he wants to start dating Jamie...she accepted and I like to think that they live happily ever after because he is so handsome and sweet.
I am confused by one thing. In the scenes where she was the PI and they were talking and no one else saw her how was that possible? Can someone explain that part to me? Thanks!

Okay, she was really there. The "detective" was his partner in crime. He was pretending she was not there, and she was in on it, and walked out, like she was an illusion, but she was there, he was pretending she was not there, and so was the PI.
