Well it's not easy making movies eh?

I feel for these guys... they were driven by this fresh idea they came up with - a 180 degrees twist on the traditional slasher film. But translating an idea into a great film is not as simple as it seems. There are so many issues here that I wouldn't know where to begin. I think it's better to be nice and judge the final product for what it is: An entertaining B-class suspense/horror that earns it's spot in the "so-bad-it's-good" Hall of Fame.

If only the talent that was put in charge of their buzz fabrication campaign was also in charge of their film, we might have had something here.

So you've made a movie before Chugs? Do tell...

reply

No, I am not a filmmaker. But if my ego is such that I think I can make a great movie and just go ahead and do it, then you have all the rights in the world to come poop over my parade on the IMDb boards (especially if it's a stinker).

It's just the world we're living in. On the other hand, I do agree that what's even easier than making movies to sit on my butt and criticize other people's hard work. Negativity never brings much back in life unfortunately.

Maybe I should try to make one, and see how it turns out...

chugs - I like your attitude..you should make a movie and call it Chugs the Monkey. It's a catchy title. A monkey who chugs beer and robs liquor stores? So many possibilities..

reply

Yes, but then it turns out that the liquor store clerk is really the devil, and that I was actually on a mission to stop evil! (Nevermind taking the money and pointing my machine gun at innocent customers - that's just a cool way of making people think I am the bad guy).
