why?

why did i trust the internet and actually watch this. How do people actually give this movie 10 stars? Have none of you seen Rosemary's Baby, because the main story is basically a total ripoff(and a poor one at that) Why were there so many unused and pointless characters? It seems like the writers started to develop character relationships and just spaced out and forgot what they were writing about. Totally not scary. If the priest wasnt a priest and was a slasher i may have accepted this movie as decent but the twist was uninteresting and comical. Honestly this is like a horror movie for people who need training wheels for horror.
