Oh dear...havent seen this but it sounds a bit pants...any other comments...bloke is a hero of mine.

Billy Connolly is a waste of space. Always has been since he gave up his roots and started sucking up to the royal's.
His lowest point came when he started crying crocodile tears at Live Aid. That was sickening.
He also gets deducted points for ruining a perfectly good film (Boondock Saints).
Fatclyde - granted your argument against Live Aid and 'Boondock Saints' are valid - but this "roots" thing and Scotland, particularly Glasgow, has to be addressed. A Scottish performer doesn't need to kowtow to the Dear Green Place every ten minutes - but far from giving up his roots, Connolly has positively plundered them for his effective stand-up. even at his pishest - and I would argue the New York gig isn't that - he blows every other stand-up out of the water.
