Has anyone seen this movie?

Did Best Buy and Target 'sell out' of this film or did they never carry it to begin with? My guess is the latter. This movie is way too obscure to ever make it to Best Buy or Target.

I had it in my Netflix queue for quite some time, only to do some detective work and find out that all the positive reviews I could find were by people affiliated with the film.

I'm waiting for an unbiased review.

My guess is that the film makers couldn't surpass the limitations of having almost no money to work with and that the resulting movie stinks. If the movie was so great, it should speak for itself and not have to be 'talked up' by the people that made it.

I love the genre, but I hate shameless self promotion posing as an unbiased review even more.

Some morons have claimed that biased reviews have been created for this film, not the case. I know the production designer and a family member wrote some reviews, those are their opinions on the film, and they have a right to them.

When family members and crew write glowingly positive reviews WITHOUT stating their affiliation, that's a major sin. It's called fraud and people go to jail for this type of thing. There's nothing 'moronic' about having an issue with fraud. The public has a right to know if the review they're reading is written by someone connected with the film.

With obscure, relatively unreviewed movies such as this, there is a very real danger that the handful of reviews you find on IMDB/Amazon are biased/written by family/crew posing as the public. When this occurs, you have the potential for hundreds, if not thousands of people to shell out money for a crappy movie (such as this one).

Maybe you're okay living in a society where biased information gets passed off as being unbiased. I'm not.

Talk up your movie all you want. Everyone's proud of their own creation. Just don't try to pass yourself off as John Q. Public.

I netflixed it - and couldn't get through it. I'm going to try to finish watching it tonight - but the character development/beginning story line lost me. It was beginning to give new meaning to the term plot convenience theater when we shut it off.
