Nogging lost it with this show, it teaches nothing to preschoolers and I find the facial expressions of the brothers a bit disturbing. I hate to see something like on Nogging.

I agree with the other responders. My 3 year old daughter usually just watches some of these shows, enjoying them, but just watching them. Ever since we've started watching this show, her imagination and interaction has just blossomed. She loves it. Frankly when I was growing up, most of our play was pretend play, and that is something that is lost with our children. The toys and shows do everything for them. Imagination is no longer important or emphasized. KUDOS to Noggin and Shane and David!

shareNot only do we love watching this show, it has led to some wonderful playtime between my children and me. We take turns pushing various silly buttons on our remotes while the other acts it out. I made my little girl giggle SOOOO much when she pressed the 'ostrich' button and I gave her an ostrich ride.
shareI too have to disagree...my daughters are 14 months and 2 years old and both love the show. I also think their humor is entertaining for adults as well (but then again I am just a 37 year old child). For the parents out there - If you would like to see them using more adult humor you should check out The Umbilical Brothers.

Like the others, my 3yr old daughter's imagination has soared since this show came on. And yes, she calls it Shane and David as well. As a parent I'm very happy to see a show that gets a physical response from my daughter. She dances when they do. She's not just sitting there watching the tv. So Kudos to Noggin for bringing this show to us parents seeking a way out of Barney land!

shareThis show is BRILLIANT. My slightly-more-than-two-and-a-half-year-old routinely uses the words "HUMONGOUS" and "STUPENDOUS" with glee AND contextual accuracy. She loves this show, and also calls it "Shane and David" most of the time.
My only concern is that Fido came to the park with us today, and I'm not sure she remembered to bring him home. I hope he's a "Homing Fly" and can make it back to Shane and David's house without any trouble. ;)
My fiance and I used to watch this show with our 2 year old! Lol, yes WE liked it too!! We thought they were hilarious as well as our 2 year old son who used to say "delicious, delectable, and delightful" and he learned it all from this show..as well as other words. This was one of his favorite shows on Noggin..too bad they took it off schedule. We all miss it :(

I totally agree! These guys are talented its disgusting that someone would call david & shane disgusting! My 2yr old daughter loves this show her imagination goes wild while she presses buttons on the remote. She loves it. Can't believe someone would have something negative to say about this show!! That's insane!
shareFunny...we were just watching TUDS and I came on here for poops&giggles...and my son (20 months) ran up and started doing Action Fingers on the desk! We've been watching this show for months and this is the first I've seen of it...awesome! I love these guys :)

Not often.
Perhaps you have personal issues that you need to address. Lighten up, look in the mirror and attempt to be creative and entertaining. You might find yourself making similar expressions. These guys are awesome! It's the best program on Noggin and my 2-year-old is in love with Shane and David.... the more goofy their expressions, the better!
shareliset... I feel really sorry for you and VERY VERY sorry for your children as you are obviously quite paranoid and misguided. The show is great and has a TON to teach preschoolers. It might be the single best show on any of the childrens networks as far as it's interactive qualities, vocabulary improvement, and creativity. I know this is your opinon... but you are simply DEAD WRONG.
