Someone forgot to tell these learned scholars...

that Confucianism isn't really a religion in any sense of the term, and isn't really practiced as such for the most part in the countries where it exists, therefore, it's hardly an apples to apples comparison.

Blaming most of the worlds conflicts on Islam by suggesting "Muslims seem to have a problem getting along with their neighbors" is also pretty Bush-League. They mention Xinjiang province in China, but fail to mention that the reason Muslims in Xinjiang "have problems getting along with their neighbors" is because their "neighbors" often times treat them like second-class citizens, denying them jobs and civil rights.

It also paints Muslims as harboring some secret collective agenda to Islamicize the entire world, and yet fails to mention that Muslim nations have fought amongst themselves just as much as they've fought outsiders. Sunni vs Shia, etc, and Iran had a very uneasy relationship with the Taliban and Pakistan, and is most certainly not sorry to see the Taliban out of power.

"Muslims want to establish a worldwide caliphate."

Which Muslims? All of them? Everywhere?
