Was the dancing a joke?!

Im at a loss for words about the 'dancing'. Now I went through the other posts and there are people saying this girl actually is a dancer? Well, if that is true, she NEVER got trained in ballet. She had to have been just an actress who got hired to be a ballet dancer in a movie, and took a few classes on pointe. I was a ballerina for 15 years, at legitimate companies. Her clopping on the floor, her arms flailing around for no reason. Her pirouettes, her first and fifth position ARMS during those turns?! Her leg position on those turns were jazz position for petes sake! I also saw people comment on how it could have just been the choreography, and I agree it was weird, definitely NOT ballet. But if you do certain ballet turns, you DON'T turn like that if your an actual ballerina. My eyes hurt still from this sorry excuse for a dance movie.

I'm not a dancer, but I have watched friends in their ballet classes...and I must agree she is not very good. Not terrible, but she doesn't dance like someone who's used to dancing!
I also thought she was a bit heavy for the standard ballet dancer. Not fat, just that the dancers I've seen are ridiculously skinny.
