Dumb Jesse

Dude should have just blew her off early in the movie. All she did was give him the cold shoulder and blow him off (in the bad way, not good way). He should have taken a hint, or just ignore her until she came crawling back to him. But, he is understanding and steadfast being by her side. What is his reward? Getting stabbed to death.
