If they didn't care if she could act, then why didn't they at least get a good dancer? One without a day of acting experience could have done better than this girl, and maybe wouldn't have been as whiny and obnoxious.

shareThat's exactly what I thought. There are a lot of talented people out there looking for acting jobs, and I'm sure plenty of those people have trained in ballet. It wouldn't have been hard to find a decent actress who is also a good dancer. I do enjoy this movie, though. It has that classic Lifetime storyline of someone wanting something and stopping at nothing to get it.
