Hi!
I'm a french extra in Inju, and we shot a scene in the La Sorbonne University in Paris yesterday with Benoît Magimel. The movie is about a french writer, Alex Fayard (Magimel), who is a specialist of a very enigmatic Japanese writer, Shundei Oe, who has never been seen publicly nor interviewed. The only thing that we know of him is that he lives in Kyoto, Japan. Fayard decides to go to Japan to try and meet him. But he's gonna get into deep troubles...

The deep trouble is when the director thinks he can direct a feature film, he's much better when he tackles documentaries. Sorry, but the film is extremely flat, in fact downright boring. Too much talk, talk which leads to much confusion about the so called plot. Magimel is wasted here and the Japanese lead, tho very pretty, is often even more confusing when trying to speak french.
