It might all be a trick of WB for free advertising

Many websites say its just a trick from WB. WB have already picked it up but a testing it by uploading it to the net just to see what the rest of the world thinks. If the world likes it they will make it.

Its got pretty good reviews so far but I reckon it will quite hard to make a season worth of eps with this.

Hopefully it is just a trick for free advertising from WB.

Doubtful considering the WB won't exist next season. Even if the show were to be picked up, it'd have to retool it's premise for it's new home on the CW. Replace Zucker, WB references, and that Everwood crack. Then again, maybe it was Zucker that canned it, not exactly a golden portrayal of the man who would greenlit your show. Not saying it wasn't accuarate, but bite the hand that feeds. Then again...considering the premise and talent...extrememly cheap show to produce, go figure.

The WB is dead as if September. However, I'm a little offended (as a humble every day person) that well-established, well-connected producers use YouTube as sell their underwhelming, pretentious show.

I thought YouTube was meant more specifically for amateur talent to shine?

Incorrect. The guys were on Last Call tonight (I know. There was nothing else on) and Carson called up the President of NBC Kevin Reilly and pressured him into saying "yes" to the show. It could have all been staged, but if it was then Carson put on a pretty good performance. Anyways, it's most likely going to NBC, strengthening their already titan grip on the future of network programming.

Last call with Carson Daly airs on NBC. Who knows whether Daly's call was part of a publicity ploy. But it should be a relief to Carson Daly that there is someone at NBC who even remembers he's on the air.

Cracks at Carson Daly are funny, and can be enjoyed by all... Unlike most of the rest of this board. How much of this do people really think is real? I mean... The freakin main guys have been acting for a combined 15 or so years, and the 'goofy suit' has been in plenty... The only possibiblty for truth is that some guys did send a tape or letter to a company...

The show has slight potnetial to be funny, in spite of the --too-overly-cheesy Will and Grace meet too-overly-fake generic reality show-- feel of it.

It was set up I think since Paul Campbell got a call from NBC that they were picking it up.
