what's he gonna play in the show?

I haven't watched the whole thing yet so I don't know if he's in the pilot or not. But I know he only did/is doing a small cameo, maybe playing himself, not sure.

Hm, i watched it some times but haven't seen Zach Braff til now. It must really be a small Cameo

Btw. Who exactly are (the) "Guy" and "Gerald"?

Im not sure but I think Gerald is the guy they hired because there was no ethnicity in the group. (in episode 2) thats probably where Zach Braff is.

no, derrick and will cameo in scrubs where zach braff is. go to youtube and type in "nobody's watching scrubs"
