It was just a TV pilot. The preview audience didn't like it that much, so the whole series was trashed. NBC created a deal with the main actors after the pilot was leaked onto YouTube to create webisodes. Since those webisodes got such great publicity, NBC was going to air a live special in early 2007. Well, that didn't happen and now NBC is saying that their contract has ran out and they are not going to pursue creating the show anymore.
It's not a real show. The two guys are actors. One, Paul Campbell (Will) was an actor on "Battlestar Galactica" (the new one). And the other, Taran Killam (Derrik), used to be on "The Amanda Show", but now he's on MTV's "Short Circuitz".
