Unsupported Theories SPOILERS

In the end, when Michael embraces the catatonic Jessica and Michael, Jessica seems to awaken from her coma and begins making out with him, and then her nose starts bleeding. I saw 2 possible ways to look at this:

1.) She was experiencing intense sexual bliss and her psychic powers were active.
2.) Cassidy had somehow jumped into her body at death and he was finally experiencing his forbidden love with his friend.

The movie shocked me a number of times, some good, some not-so good.

Did anyone else think Michael had attacked the hustler because he had used his services and didn't want to get caught? I guessed he had perpetrated the killings because he couldn't get a handle on his own sexuality. The dean was a close second suspect, but sort of seemed like a cop out.

1)In the sauna scene, after Cassidy attacks Michael, before Victor(the Callboy, not really a hustler, they work streets and bars.) gets there Jessica sits up tranced out, nose bleeding and starts saying "No Michael, no." So there was already evidence in the movie that she had 'The Gift.' Intense sexual bliss was nessecary for the aunt(My powers are getting weaker as I get older), less nessecary for Cassidy. For Jessica to experience the vision after heving an intense on after what amounted to heavy petting, then having her brothers head blown all over her face, who knows how much of a trigger she'll need in the future. a)What if she's still in the vision ever since the shooting? b)What if she'll be thrown back into a trance and see that episode every time she hears or touches Michael? c) What if she stays comatose in the vision of her brothers death unless Michael is with her? d)And then she has to live in a precogintive state when she is conscious?

2) Cute idea about the obvious lust for the friend. I just don't know about being able to have your psychic sister become a medium so you could make out with your killer.

3) Michael attacked Victor because he was a) a stranger on campus b)upsetting Jessica, who fit the profile of the victims. I did think that Michael was the killer, and attacked Victor because he was poaching and possibly spoiling his virgin prey. I never thought he might be having repressed homosexual feelings. Most serial killers are not conflicted about what they need. This established pattern would never suggest repressed homosexual feelings, rather obsessive heterosexual fixation.

4) The Dean was a TOTAL cop out. I think Anne(Jessicas roommate) as a repressed Lesbian would have been a great psycho, MUCH better than the dean!
