Word of advice, don't let IMDB ratings put you off films

So i used to never bother watching a film below a high 5 / 10.

Recently i decided i'd start watching films from 5.0 and above. I'm up to 5.3 currently and all i can say is i've seen some really good enjoyable movies so far which i'd never of seen with my old attitude, this being one of them.

May even reduce that to include 4.0 / 10's.

Don't let the rating on here put you off of watching films people - You'll miss out on some real gems if you do.

~5.0 is my general cutoff point, too, but I'll give a lower rating a chance if there's something pertinent to my interests--a favorite actor or scriptwriter, etc.

So far, I haven't discovered any hidden gems lurking in the lower realms.
