If you're looking for more details: Tommy Santarelli was recruited to a prep school after winning a game on the sandlot, and attended it when hims mother died around the same time. But he isn't well-liked, having gone through many teams and always proclaiming how great he is, having neither enthusiasm for the game nor respect for his teammates or anybody else. A set of fireworks is set off in the stadium where he's practicing so he doesn't see a pitch being aimed at him and gets hit in the head, and transported back in time to when he played on the sandlot. He agrees to play on the sandlot team only after he witnesses a boy bullying a younger mute boy and helps them sharpen their skills. But then he's approached by the bully's father who wants to renovate the sandlot, which will be done if his team can beat the sandlot team in a final game. It's revealed that playing for the opposing team originally (it doesn't say why, maybe he never developed close friendships with the other boy and, like later, was never interested in attaching himself to one team for long) that he was discovered and recruited into prep school and went onto the Major Leagues. He has to choose whether to keep the glorious lifestyle he longs to return to, or stick with the others who played on the sandlot so it will be left intact.

Doesn't the plot on the page make perfect sense?

"Sucessful, arrogant baseball superstar Tommy "Santa" Santorelli travels back in time to 1976 and relives his boyhood days on the sandlot baseball team, this time choosing friendship over glory and ultimately earning both."

I have a feeling this is going to beat out SuperBabies for the worst movie ever made. Why, God, why?!
