I was on a 4 hour flight and decided to watch this movie to help the time pass. This movie is a crap load of crap!!!! It made the flight seem 10 times longer. This movie just dragged on and on and on....there were stories in there that were so not important and just annoying. And how about Taylor Swift!!!!! I have never seen a more annoying actress on screen in my life. She really has to stick with singing(even her singing is questionable).

SO STUPID!!!!! Everyone is connected to someone is some stupid average way. And the phone sex storry line, just so stupid and just needed to GO AWAY!!!!!

this movie had some good actors that were terrible because of the content and writing of this pathetic over hyped movie. STUPID!!!

Yes, Taylor Swift was acting that way because her character was written that way to be funny, but on the other hand, you might be interested in knowing that the word sarcasm doesn't mean what you seem to think it means.

Aweful! Trying to be funny... I'm embarrassed for her. It was hard to watch! I actually cant stand to hear her sing either when it's not on the radio and the machines take all the controls, but live... she's god-aweful!

I'm trying to watch this right now...horrible movie...but when she showed up, I literally cringed at her line delivery. She is TERRIBLE...I actually felt a little sorry for her at how atrocious her acting is.

No, she was just plain annoying. Amanda Seyfried played a similar ditzy character in Mean Girls and she did great and was not annoying.

...and nauseatingly horrible line delivery.

For those who keep saying "the character was supposed to be that way" or whatever...I get that the character was supposed to be ditzy and all...but she was flat out terrible in her portrayal. Clearly everyone defending her is a Taylor Swift fan, and that is fine. But just because she may be able to write music and "sing" (albiet with the tremendous help of studio-doctoring...listen to her sing live and you'll know what I mean), that does not mean she can act. Watch the scenes again...she is horrible.

Stop trying to be a "know-it-all" because you're not.

First of all, Swift's acting was decent. She had minimal screen time - approximately 7 minutes. She portrayed some dumb teen believably.

Secondly, just because people defend her doesn't mean they are fans. I will defend Julia Roberts in this, but I hate her to my very core. She was great in the film, but I hate her outside this movie in just about every single movie of hers.

Thirdly, I've heard Swift live and no she's not a victim of studio-doctoring. Swift's voice on album and live is the same. Kesha's live voice and album voice are different.

Fourth, just because you think that she is horrible, because of some personal vendetta (perhaps you're jealous of Swift in some way) doesn't mean you are stating facts. You are telling us opinions like they are end-all-be-all of facts. They aren't.

Finally, get off your high horse and stop badgering people because they have a different opinion. We get it, you hate Swift. Your one post was evidence enough.

I´m gonna take a wild guess here and assume from what Im reading that Taylor Swift was the blond teen... I´ve heard her sing - not too bad, not over the top either - but it´s the first time I actually watch her in anything, and I think she was rather sweet as a ditzy chick in love with her boy friend. She wasn´t aiming to anything else so I don´t think it was that bad.

Of course, bananas are far more interesting.

I din't think she was THAT bad....considering she's a singer, and not an actress. This was her first role. Everyone SORT OF sucks on their first role. Plus, it wasn't a very good first role. I don't know. For her character, I thought she did well.

These kids saying they thought she did great clearly have down syndrome or *beep* their brains up with ecstasy and coke. Her acting was terrible. Made my skin crawl. I was literally cringing at her acting attempt I hope to god she never acts again. ffs 50 Cent does a better job at acting.

I already knew this movie was gonna be bad but man was I wrong, this movie was fking terrble.
