haha he screws up

if you've ever gotten a tattoo you would have noticed. or just pretty much common sense would tell you..
when he tattooed luke and victoria he didn't even swap needles, machines, gloves, NOTHING!
also he didn't even use stencils, and if he uses other countrys designs like he says he would at least need one, or the picture next to him for a reference!
i kinda hate that they overlooked that..

reply

Just because you dont see him swap anything doesnt mean he didnt. Most of the tattoo's in this movie would take 30 mins or more, you think they shot the whole thing as he tattooed?

And maybe he ttattoo's everything freehand? hes just that damn good.
lol

Nobody is that good! And there are a lot of mistakes when he is doing the tattoos.
This movie could be a lot better if they paid attention to the actual tattooing details.

might i add when he inks up the needles he doesnt turn on the tattooing gun, also doesnt shave the peoples skin, and has his arm fully extended while tattooing people 3 feet away, when i get tattooed the artist is usually using my body as a arm rest for his tattooing hand.

i could go on but this movie just blew A$$

Wow, all of the tattoo technic critisism might be relevant if the movie had any substance! The ONE thing that gave this movie value was the AWESOME effects in the hospital. That alone was worth sitting through the shallow undeveloped charactors and the weak premise. I did, however, enjoy some of the camera work and editing.

Not only that, he never asks what they want for a tattoo, or where they want it on their body. He just starts right away. And when they are done, the people just jump up and walk out without paying! Weird.

I totally agree with House1000. You are being too critical of the film's contents, and you obviously dont know that much about tattooing if you think that you NEED a stencil, because you dont!

Tune in to Miami Ink once and a while. =)

Haha, sorry. I work in a studio. You only don't need stencils when you're doing some sort of tribal/mouri design... Etc. However, even in that situation, a professional tattooist would NOT tattoo straight onto skin. They would outline with pen where they are going.

Miami( as well as LA and London) Ink is a tv show. It's not real. Everything on that show is staged. They even have actors who they make out work there. It gives people a fake look at tattooing.

sleevedbiker awe that's priceless your comment about him being superman.

but to some of you he asked victoria what she wanted and i think before he even scheduled the other people he asked what they wanted to...so yeah to repeat what a couple people said...just because you didn't see it in the movie doesnt mean it didn't happen. i have one tattoo and my guy wasnt all up on me while doing it either.

Hello, I'm good for nothing
