Question about a particular scene..(SPOILER)

After her child is kidnapped she sees the killer's daughter looking into the window of her piano-school. She asks the daughter why was she looking inside but the daughter breaks free and runs away crying. After which the mother calls the police.

Would this suggest that the killer's daughter knew, or had suspicions about her dad being involved in the disappearance of her son? Is it possible that this led to his arrest?

Just noticed this upon my 4th viewing.

Yes, that's what I thought (I only saw it once). When the daughter was acting weird in front of her store, she suspected something and called the police, which led to the murderer's arrest.
