The original cut

I for one would love to see the climactic battle that was originally the ending to the film. Sounds like it cost the studio a small fortune so could be very interesting. It's rare a film has such wholesale changes made to it and the result isn't a total mess.

I'm very surprised the excised footage hasn't turned up as a special feature or some workprint somewhere.
