Interstellar is a giant metaphor for sexual reproduction.

TARS is a conscious being capable of love, understanding friendship and making a connection to family. In one scene inside the movie TARS is seen with Amelia and behaving in accordance with her. That implies that TARS has connected with Amelia in the past and later he connected with Cooper. Cooper thought TARS respect when they were traveling together, and that led TARS to respect himself and therefore show more self-awareness to Cooper and the crew. TARS mentioned the word ' I' in one sentence and later he mentioned the word ' Me' in another sentence, and finally he mentioned the word ' Am'. These words indicates a gradual change in self-awareness that TARS has experienced. In the black hole when TARS and Cooper were left alone, TARS mentioned the word ' Us' in a sentence. That means that TARS started to see Cooper as a friend and not just as someone who uses him. All what I have said above is evidence that TARS undoubtedly a conscious being capable of awareness, emotional connection, love, understanding human relationships like a human.

Tars is the name for the human TARS. The word Tars is manipulated so it leads to the creation of several new words.
Arts, Rats, Star, Stars.
What is the connection between all these words?
Beauty
Life
Movement
Death
When ' He' is added to the spelling of the word Tars it leads to the creation of several new words.
The Hearts, the Hearst, the Arse, the Tears.
What do they have in common?
Beauty
Movement
Life
Flexibility
Emotions

The found common things also share one thing in common. That would be sexual reproduction, which has in common all those things.

That means Interstellar is a metaphor for sexual reproduction.

On the endurance there was 5 scientists and each one had a certain human trait.

Cooper Class
Romilly Intelligence
Amelia Humanity
Doyle Freedom of Speech
Tars Civility

Since Interstellar is a metaphor for sexual reproduction, each one of the scientists is a piece of the metaphor.
Intelligence raises class, so that means Romilly is the body of the dick while Cooper is the head of the dick, since the dick raises the head and that's how a dick goes up. Amelia is the most emotional and human member of the crew, and that means her trait is humanity. How does humanity relates to freedom of speech? Freedom of speech protects humanity. That means Amelia would be the vagina inside the metaphor and what protects it is the blocker of the vagina, and that means Doyle is that blocker. Why? Because Doyle protected Brand by sending Tars to save her when they were on Miller's planet. Finally that means Tars is the double ass and the semen. Tars becoming more aware changes him from the rigid ass to the semen which contains life.
