Doyle still alive

On Miller's planet, which is the planet that orbits the Gargantua supermassive black hole, which results in extreme time dilation. 1 hour on Miller = 7 Years on Earth. Anyways.

I suspected that Doyle was still alive. His suit seems to be perfectly intact, and was probably just knocked unconscious. Imagine him waking up on a water world that is maybe half a foot to a foot deep and no one else is around and a giant mountain-sized wave is heading towards him.

I think the worst thing about it is that rescue may be possible within 24 hours, as that would be some 168 years later and humans would no doubt be back to explore the planet, but he'd have to survive wave impact after wave impact, over and over again.

I totally expect a Doyle spin-off movie where he seeks his revenge against Coop and Brand and TARS for abandoning him.

He's not alive.

well, they show him facedown in the water, dead.

Since the movie tells us he didn't make it, then that is what happened in the movie world.

Easy to surmise he broke his neck slammed into the back of the ship by that canyon sized wave, or maybe it snapped his back while get tossed all over. Anyway, doesn't matter, movie say (show) he dead
