Wouldn't Cooper be humanity considering he was the only one concerned with the people back on Earth? I would have thought Amelia would have been objectivity?

Also what would Murph be? Or Brand?

reply

I was talking about the scientists who were on the ship...The Endurance.
Cooper was more class than humanity...And i recall Amelia was crying and he wasn't.

reply

Gotcha. Right Amelia was crying when they met brand but cooper seemed to care more about humanity.

reply

There is no reason to doubt that Cooper cared more about his family than anybody else. But couldn't that be because he saw a utility in his family...If so, then he was more pragmatic than empathetic. Amelia was like pure empathy...She would empathize with anyone.

reply

Right but when they are debating whether to go to Miller’s planet or not Amelia was all for it knowing that it would probably mean abandoning everyone on Earth, that is if they stayed there longer than a few hours. That just didn’t sound like humanity was her main priority

reply

Murph is intuition.

reply

This movie was a giant metaphor for sexual reproduction.
Cooper represents the body of the dick while Romilly is the head.
Brand is the cunt (from the inside) while Doyle is the frontal blocker.
The first planet is the stage of womanhood while the second planet is the stage of manhood.
Tars represents both the arse and the semen inside the metaphor.
Murph is the testicles.
The tesseract is the point of sexual contact.

Chastain hotness

reply

She's hot for sure. She was fine in the movie.

Nolanite stupidity

I'm a math genius, verified fact brah.

reply

They all exhibited a level of idiocy that one would not expect in a crew trusted with such an important and expensive craft. Also very much a human trait. Base foolishness.

reply

Cooper saved Brand, the Endurance, the world.
Brand saved Cooper, and inspired him with her "love transcends..." speech.
Romilly aided Cooper in saving the world.
Doyle saved Brand.
In short, they all exhibited reaction-time and rational thinking. They were intelligent scientists.

reply

"love transcends..." speech.

reply

What about it? I admit that's not exactly what she said. Many people misinterpret that speech. She was showing a degree of intuition, I thought.

reply

Let's just the nonsense it already...

The movie was a flop and nobody liked it.

reply

"The movie was a flop and nobody liked it."
This is trolling. Please be serious.

reply

Said the 22...

reply

Do you imply that i was trolling?

Edit: Hide as much as you like, carrot. I still can recognize you.
