NOT MANY PEOPLE LIKED TEEN TITANS AS MUCH AS US FANS DID, THEY CANCELLED THE SHOWS SIXTH SUPPOSED TO BE LAST SEASON BECAUSE THEY THNIK THAT JUSTICE LEAGE AND SAMURAI JACK ARE WAY BETTER THAN TEEN TITANS, SO CARTOON NETWORK'S EXECUTAVE PRODUCER SAID THAT IT WAS GOOD HAVING SUPERHERO IDOLS FOR CARTOON NETWORK BUT THAT IT WASN'T THEIR MISSION AND FOR teen titans, they don't want to make a season 6. What we must do is talk to cartoon network about convincing them of editing the supposed to be last season of teen titans (season 6). I strongly belive that if they air a 6th season it WILL answer who the white thing from the last episode "things change" is, what happenned to Terra, Where Slade is hidding or if he's really DEAD, what will become of Raven, Is the Robin/starfire relationship going to continue, and what about the other titans? I'm a big fan of the show, and I know that there are many other people out there who might or are bigger fans of the show than I am, but we need to save season 6 and maybe a 7th season will hop in! I KNOW THAT ALL THE FANS WANT THOSE QUESTIONS I PUT IN THIS MESSAGE ANSWERED and to get them we need to convince cartoon network to convince a 6th and probably 7th season! WE HAVE TO EXPLAIN THIS TO CARTOON NETWORK BECAUSE THEY AIR STUPIDER SHOWS THAT MAKE NO SENCE, *excuse me but it just really frustrades me that they don't want to continue Teen Titans my all time ffavorate show in the WORLD* WE HAVE THE POWER TO CONTINUE TEEN TITANS AND WE WILL.

Dude, they cancelled Justice League - which, in a way, is way better than Teen Titans - AND Samurai Jack, which I think won an Emmy or something. But yes, I do agree, it's a bit sad that they cancelled the show, I really did like it. I sent a letter out, along with hundreds of others, hoping to get it back on the air, but it looks like it didn't work.

hopefully the teen titans movie will answer all of the questions. If it doesnt then yeah we really do need to do something about it. I loved teen titans and would love to see more. Cartoon Network does for some reason put stupid shows that dont make since on the air now. MY GYM PARTNER'S A MONKEY?! SQUIRREL BOY?! CAMP LAZLO?! The last two are alright but i absolutely hate the gym partner show. Its just plain stupid. We need better shows on there. Besides we need to see some superboy and wondergirl stuff on there from the comics. what ever happened to them?

Well i would love to find out the stuff about Raven ,who is RED X or slade or Romances I just really wish they kept Terra DEAD. And that last episode of the series was really bad it didn't answer anything

Nothing lasts forever. Least of all cartoons, which on average have 2-6 year life spans. WB thought the series had pretty much run its course, there wasn't enough ideas left to keep it interesting for more seasons.
But I think there are so many things in the comics they could have used, they were just getting started what with the introduction of so many new characters.
I love Samurai Jack and Justice League just as much. Sure it is a shame that they were cancelled, but it would just become flat and boring if it just kept going until you got sick of it and it had to be cancelled out of lack of viewers. Best to let it die in it's prime, then it's appreciated more. Like the Simpsons, I have been watching it my whole life I like the show but it doesn't seem as special as the shorter lived shows and it's loosing its touch.

I think JL could have gone for at least a few more seasons, there were so many stories from the comics and the other character's back stories to be explored. At least it will live on in DTV movies.

Samurai Jack was beautiful, every frame was a work of art and the stories were always interesting and original. I think it is Tartakovsky's greatest work and it showed that cartoons aren't just for kids but they don't have to have adult themes to appeal to an older audience either. Hopefully Genndy will pick it up again and give it a proper ending, possibly a movie as seems the fashion.

I agree.The movie is good,but it does not involve anything really important other than Robin and Starfire getting closer.It does not involve Slade,Terra,or really anything more about the rest of the Titans.The movie really has no purpose for people who want to see more continuing info about all of the Teen Titans.They didn't even include a common villan like Slade causing trouble,just a villan that has never been mentioned.

I agree with you that the last episode was bad. I very RARELY watch that episode. And I have to strongly disagree with you on the Terra part because she is my favorite female character in the show and I wish Beast Boy and her would be reunited. Then the team would be equal: three boys and three girls. That would make six members. I would love to see Terra and Beast Boy teaming together with the other titans to defeat other villains.

First thing is first. That letter thing I found didn't work as told by someone. I would say a petition is better to the creator himself. We should really pressure him over and over until he gives in.

The reason why TT was canceled was because of some new management dudes at Cartoon Network, not the creators of the show. I think. Someone tell if I'm wrong about that, please, I was just told that by a few different people... I didn't actually do any research myself (yes, I know, I'm impossibly lazy).

Yes, it was Cartoon Network; they did not order any new episodes after season five. You can also blame CN for changing the plans for 20 episodes in season five instead of only 13. The show's producers were planning to bring back Slade and have him take over leadership of the Brotherhood of Evil by season's end!

We got the show extended to five seasons; I'm happy about that.

um.....people, It's too late. CN and WB have made up their minds. It sucks, but things change. The last episode (things change) was the last episode for a reason.Things don't last an eternity. It may have only been a TV show, but it was more than that to us. CN and WB didn't see it like that. As much as we don't want it to, it's ended. However, there are still comics being made! There are also Fan Fics you can read. So, in a way, to us, it is still going on. Also, if there are enough people who buy the Trouble in Tokyo movie, they will make a second one! This is not the Judas contact, that ones based on the old comics.

Nothing lasts for ever??? I guess nobody told The Simpson that.
The show is gone due to toy sales. That is what helps keeps series on the air. The Simpsons and Fox's primetime is excluded from this due to thier contracts with Fox.
Low toy sales got He-Man (CN's version) axed.
NO toy deal got Static Shock killed off.
I bet Teen Titians had low toy sales and it's gone.

um.......no......that's not why they cancelled it. they cancelled it because WB wanted to bring in new shows and new seasons. Teen Titans didn't make the cut because it was only supposed to run for 4 seasons. It lasted five.

Still, I don't understand why anyone would want to cancel one of their most popular shows and replace them with My gym partners a monkey, and Ben Ten, and other stupid shows like that.

Oh, and, Skyvolt2000, NOTHING LASTS FOREVER. The simpsons is just a popular show and sooner or later, they will have to end it. Many shows had the same fate. I know, if it's a show we love, it's hard to grasp the fact that it has or will be cancelled. We fought for Teen Titans as much as we could, but WB and CN had made up their minds. There is nothing more we can do.

Sorry, Mitchmas, I have to disagree when you say that many shows have had the same fate when referring to The Simpsons for The Simpsons is the longest running animated series and therefore is currently threading in uncommon ground and proving that anything is truly possible.

I don't watch The Simpson's as much as I once did but they are way, way past the point everyone thought they'd ever be and therefore every new episode is a bonus.

If they ever get cancelled the show will still be an accomplishment and I doubt many (if any) animiated shows will ever top that feat.

So you can't compare The Simpson's to any other a animiated show right now.

I say if they "ever" get cancelled because I wouldn't be surprised to see the producers decide to stop making it before they get cancelled.

Who knows, I just wanted to point out the accomplishments they have made.

Oh, and I enjoyed Teen Titans as well - it is too bad but perhaps a new show will develop that everyone can enjoy just as much....eventually.

i mean, we're talking about Teen Titans and then you start talking about the simpsons!!!!!

Look:

The Simpsons, so far has more than 8 seasons, and if they can have that many seasons why can't the Titans? I mean, not EVERYBODY likes The Simpsons and just now there starting they're first movie, after what? like 9 seasons! and the titans had theyre first movie by season 5!!!

Look, originaly (I got this from someone else) the titans 5th season was supposed to be 19 episodes... (or a number around there) so the ppl from WB and CN could use those episodes to tie up loose ends! AND DON'T EVEN MENTION THAT THEY WOULDN'T HAVE ANY IDEAS TO CONTINUE THE TITANS!!! i mean, a 7 year-old fan boy could make new stuff for another season, LOOK IN THE INTERNET!!! PPL HAVE ALLREADY STARTED THIS "MAKE YOUR OWN SEASON 6" THING!!!! plus they've got ideas from the magazine!

A REAL TEEN TITANS FAN WOULD KEEP HIS (OR HER) HOPES UP FOR THE SHOW TO CONTINUE, EVEN IF MANY SITES SAY "NO MORE TITANS", A REAL FAN WOULD KEEP TRYING AND TRYING, NOT GIVE IN!!!

even in "the simpsons", when they were around they're 3rd season, I'm sure the creators were running out of ideas, but it still continued!

I know that sometimes, you've gotta face the truth, but, let that sad truth get you in a year from now, if the titans dosen't air or no whispers about it come and go in a year from now, then yes stop trying, BUT LET THIS YEART BE THE TITANS YEAR! WHEN WE STAND UP AND FIGHT! PETITIONS, STRIKES... I KNOW THAT THERE ARE AT LEAST A SMALL GROUP OF PPL WHO LIVE IN THE SAME PLACE THAT CN/WB STUDIOS ARE AT!!!! HATE LETTERS TO BOTH COMPANIES, ADVERTISEMENTS IN NEARLY EVERY WEB SITE! WE NEED TO MAKE THIS BIG!!!! WE OWE IT TO THE TITANS, WHO HAVE LET THE WEEK DAYS AND WEEK ENDS TO HAVE AT LEAST ONE GOOD SHOW!!!! PPL KEEP YOUR HOPES UP AND FIGHT!!!!

there's an old saying that goes: "you must fight for what you want" and "good things take time" well then let's take our time and hope for the best! maybe we can have this little article on the news, gather fans world wide in the same... virtual... place... I know and hope we can do this...

Look, guys, we are all Titans fans, and we all want the show to continue, but come on. I know from experience that we can't get it to continue. Trust me, I sent eight E- mails and four letters to CN. It's been over a year! November of 2005! I'm sorry, but we did all we could, we gave them everything we've got, but they don't care. They've got two new succesful shows (Who knows why they are succesful)and they aren't going to change it. I know I'm ruining your day, but you guys need to understand that it's over. Well, at least for the show. There's the comics, and if the movie sells well, which came out tuesday, they will make another movie! Go to target or bestbuy! They are selling them for 15 bucks! I'm not saying lose all hope, I'm saying don't put all of it into something that's already over.

I can see your point. I'm on the Neutral side for this one. If I were to be one of the Teen Titans Animated Series creators, I won't allow them to stop until the fans said so.

definitely a weird ending. didn't like it. i wish they continued it so they could make a CLEANER ending. not that i wanted it to end.

but seriously, CN has really lame shows now. (probably for little kiddies)

I liked Teen Titans, but Justice League was better. I'd like it if either came back.
