'Shelter Me' 2007

The movie "Shelter Me" is a very modern movie about a refugee who wants what every other European wants i.e."cell phone, house and car" - as quoted from the movie. The reality is that human beings bring their problems with them where ever they go. There is no escape. However, if one runs from problems (i.e. Anis not coping with the death of his parents) the only thing that happens is that the problem starts re-occurring (i.e. not coping) and becomes a catalyst for a snowball effect. This is one of the only movies that captured the process so vividly especially in the last scene of Anis running through the maze fields. Annuska
