As far as the sub-plot, this is the best boxing movie I have ever seen...As far as acting and production value I still like "Ali".

From those that I can think of offhand, Hurricane was my favorite.

As a boxing movie, it was terrible. The fight scene was pathetic.

But as a movie it was very good. I really enjoyed it.

Ryan's boxing background lent authenticity to the prizefight,the real time narrative, urgency. Definitely,one of the best.
