How in the world did people like this??!

I read some of the reviews here and thought that I would enjoy this movie. However, besides the nice set of boobies you see here and there, there really was not one thing to like about it. It's just a bunch of people doing stupid things in stupid ways.

Some people say that if you like the gore you should enjoy this but I really didn't see that much entertaining or creative gore at all nor anything that made me queasy in any way. If you want to see the good gore go watch "Dead Alive", by far the bloodiest movie I've seen. Another alternative is "My Dead Girlfriend". It doesn't necessarily have more gore but it's another zombie movie that's MUCH more entertaining.

This movie is horrible. There are tons better things to do with your 90 minutes so stay away from it.

Thanks- I'll wait to watch this one- all the support seems to being coming from the crew- alone. Plus, there are no screen shots on the website... hmmmm.

I saw it last night. The make-up and FX was adequate, nothing great. The story however, is ludicrous. The only decent actor/actress was the black nurse.

I just finished watching it and save your time and the 90 minutes of your life that you'd waste on it. I don't know how anyone found this to be entertaining at the least let alone "good" because this movie was horrible. The special effects are low budget at best, the gore over the top, the acting terrible, plot horrid, and any thing that should be "scary" predictable.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WASTE YOUR TIME.

But then again that is just my humble opinion because obviously there are people that like it and I do respect that, but as far as I'm concerned do not watch this movie.

i Agree...the gore in this movie was so phony not to mention the movie put me to sleep. and the ending was a stupid attempt at a twist.

I agree. It was absolute garbage. Any "rave" reviews for this film must be coming from people who worked on the movie. It is a blatant and bad rip-off of Re-Animator. In fact, Stuart Gordon should sue!

Hey, I had nothing to do with this movie, and I loved it. Most horror movies suck because theyre filled with boring dialogue while you wait for something to happen. THIS movie has something crazy happening every moment, and as far as the gore being "phony" is concerned, gee, sorry if it doesn't look like a genuine snuff film. Have any of you seen the "red paint" gore effects in stuff like those old films like Blood Feast or 2000 Maniacs? The gore in THIS movie looks like real meat and entrails from a butcher shop! Anyway, it's obviously an over the top fun movie, not meant to "scare" you. I'm also sure that the comments by the Leben Tod lovers are from real viewers, who have a sense of fun and love a good low-budget gore fest.

Don't fear the Leben Tod, embrace it! And laugh and cringe ... it's good for you.

anna blade, your comment is heart felt and I understand it's sentiment. but I think you missed the spirit of the film as an homage to the ultra gory horror movies that were coming out of Japan a few years ago and those blood drenched masterpieces from Italy in the 1980s. this was a spirited attempt at fun blood mixed with the campy feel of American creature movies from the 50s and 60s and topped off with an unusual although given, sentimental take on the world of the undead.

I hope that you give it another chance. it was a low budget labor of love

The opening scene with the frog told me all I needed to know. This movie was gonna suck. And sure enough, it did! I wasted money renting this piece of crap...don't anybody else do the same! Unless you like really awful movies, that aren't even so-awful-it's-funny.

Definitely better things to do with your time!
