I pushed 'STOP' after the frog scene

Seriously. These are the same guys that made "Snakes on a Train". I have never been so turned off by a movie to the point where I lost my appetite (KFC dinner). Normally I like KFC. But that RE-Animater rip-off scene just sucked. Generally any movie that starts off with graphics like that is going to suck. I was pulled into renting this because I had a free movie rental coupon at Blockbuster, and because it had those 2 award signs on the back.

If the creaters of this movie read this, I'm sorry but I own The Hills Have Eyes, Dawn Of The Dead(old),Dawn Of The Dead(new),I own The Decent, and have rented Hostel. I recently rented FEAST. ALL of those were good. Those are some of the best this generation has to offer in cinema horror. You get me on this?

In Re-Animater, the the screaming dead cat coming back scene was crazy. That touches on an old human fear. To push an "ON" button and something unexpected and out of control happens. That, just like Psycho's shower scene was smart. This movie starts of with a unoriginal name and plot and bassicly has this cheesy early 90's crap style intro. Get with the times man. FEAST was a throwback to campy 80's monster flicks- but it did it smartly.

I just saw the intro on chiller. The frog scene made me laugh my head off. Since when do undead frogs scream like wailing girls?

I'm watching it on Chiller Channel and was laughing at the wailing frog, too! I thought, "Wait! This has got to be a spoof of the genre." If it is, that was a great start, with the man mashing the frog-on-its-back-but-still-leaping with... What DID he use? His shoe? I glanced away and missed it.

I almost skipped this, as it's 3 a.m., and I'm overdue for sleep. We'll see... Knowing Chiller, this will be aired fairly often.
