Any woman who cheats on her husband while he is deployed deserves to be beaten to death, one of the worst things you can do to a person is cheat on them while they are at war. Liked the movie, but hated this aspect of it, noway does that fly in real life.

Lisa Kudrow's character may have cheated on her husband, but it wasn't because she didn't love him anymore or anything. I'm pretty sure it was implied that her boss (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) had told her that she'd get a raise if she slept with him. And, with her husband away and the uncertainty of whether or not he'd come back, and her two little boys to take care of, well... You know the saying, "Desperate times call for desperate measures."
I'm not defending her adultery in any way other than to say that it's a different situation than someone who's just screwing around.
