This was filmed in my neighborhood!

When I moved to Austin last spring, a few months later we noticed a movie set down the street on an adjacent block. We drove by frequently to see if we could find a star, and the closest we came was seeing Jeff Balis.

They filmed at least part of the movie in a house that was for sale down on Midbury Ct.

It was pretty cool seeing the lines of cars along the street the days it was in production. I can't wait to see the movie simply because I was living around the corner from where it was filmed. So weird...

Not it wasn't.

I don't know. But I was there. And it's true.

Don't reply to this fool anymore. I live in the same neighborhood. I remember when they were filming.

Exactly...there were cars around the block from all the crew, and it was pretty damn obvious it was a movie set, what with all the lighting and trailers and catering. Not to mention the fact that it actually appeared in the Austin American-Statesman (the local paper) that it was filming in Austin. Plus I saw Jeff Balis there - I recognized him from Project Greenlight.

The house looked pretty trashed when they were done, and they took out a big chunk of the backyard fence.

they were in my neighborhood too, just down the street. A PA came to my door one day saying there was going to be explosions and not to call the cops. They wouldn't say who was in the movie, only that it was somebody from friends.

Austin, CA or Austin, TX
