F'n awesome!!!!

The trailer caught my attention and went to see it tonight. it is AWESOME! If you get a chance to see this, do yourself a favor and check it out. I agree with a lot of the other comments, it did remind me a lot of Evil Dead. Of course, there is only one Evil Dead, but this is as good as it gets if you loved Evil Dead (II). Fun, funny, exciting, great monsters, blood guts and bodily fluids galore... And the main character really anchors the whole thing. Horror has gone downhill with many of the big budget holllywwod attampts or even worse, all the remakes of killler japanese films, but this stands out above al the rest.

I'd like to go on but then i'd go into spoiler territory in explaining why this just blew me away. And i wasn't the only one, everybody in the theater )not too many people sadly) got up after the credits and were all smiling ang grinning. Horror is a tricky genre and an abomination when not done right, but these people just nailed it dead on. Truly remarkable film, hope more people go see it.

This was a helluva lot of fun, exactly what I expected it to be.

Sure there could've been more monster slaying but it all felt like a set up for a bigger and more badass sequel, which better get made because from what I saw, these guys have it in them.

I recommend buying it as soon as it hits stores.

I couldn't agree more, this movie was so much fun to watch...i think it's going to have a huge cult following. My teacher actually worked on the sound for the film.

Well I haven't seen it yet, but from what I've heard it kicks all sorts of ass. I plan on picking it up when I get Feast 2. Now for those of you wanting a sequel, a story was just posted over at joblo.com that said they are going in to production on a second one with a bigger budget but with the same 80's vibe...kinda like Evil Dead II had a bigger budget but had the same heart to it. So there you have it...and I hope I dig this flick like I think I should.

'What, like Glengary Glenross?'

The film is awesome but i think it is right to at least say the set up of the film was too long. It is fine to say that this is the beginning of a franchise but that ain't an excuse for such a long set up - infact it is just a weak way of saying the movie wasn't the best but had some good ideas that hopefully they will expand on if they make another ie: more freakin monster slaying.

Don't get me wrong, i did like the film and those who love the 80's horror set will like it but the movies that many are comparing it too did not have such a long build for what was about 20 minutes of' awesomeness'.

was it at least better than hatchet? i get what hatchet was attempting, but at the end of the day i liked very little about it, except the ending, i called it but didn't think it would happen, and i thought it was awesome. i do however think slither is awesome, and i enjoy the early peter jackson films and the evil dead series
