halloweentown 5?
do you guys know whats hapen with halloweentown 5 first thay sad it was coming in 2008 then thay sad its comeing in 2009 its september new disney has not sad yet if its comeing out this year or not?
shareI don't believe that there was any official information regarding a 5th installment. The 4th didn't sit well with the majority of the original Halloweentown fanbase, and I don't think attracted many new fans either. From what I know, having been following the films for a while now, no 5th movie is currently planned. Like you i've heard rumors but other than Wikipedia pages(which everyone knows to be unreliable) I've never seen any concrete proof to support the rumors. I wish there was.
I do know that if it is coming it will not be out this year as no plans have been officialy announced by Disney and the Hauntober line-up has already been made. I'd imagine that if it ever does come that Disney will want to wait untill next year to announce any official plans. If they don't produce another installment by 2010 I doubt that another film will ever be made by Disney. But who knows--maybe the rights will end up with another company who will be willing to make another film.Or maybe Disney has been working on a 5th but have not seen fit to officially anounce a project yet.
