what the hell?

Fear of clowns 2?!! are they oblivious to the fact at how bad the first one was?

reply

My friends and I loved the first one, solely because it was so bad. Personally, I can't wait to make fun of this next one!

reply

I swear I'm like the only one who actually liked this and saw through the shyte and saw the great potential of this film!!!

HOW MUCH BLOOD WILL YOU SHED TO STAY ALIVE?

I think you and I HLCS are the only ones still in agreement. FOC2 is gonna rock.

reply

Hey VinRogers, I'm glad that someone else agrees with me and shares a love for this film, and I'm glad it's you.

I know this movie is going to be awesome no matter what the budget because the guys who are creating it have heart, passion and a thrive to make a good film which is what they did with the first and I know surely the second.

Now a film for me doesn't have to be Hollywood so to speak or have a big budget to win my love as shown with FOC and soon to be FOC 2.

Also, do you know when the second film will be out in theatres or dvd???

I can't wait to see FEAR OF CLOWNS 2! The first movie was brillant! I have a poster for it on my wall!! All the characters were so cool! Glad Frank Lama is returning as Detective Peters!

reply

You're too lucky that you have a poster on your wall as I love the art from that film

HOW MUCH BLOOD WILL YOU SHED TO STAY ALIVE?

reply

FEAR OF CLOWNS IS PROBABLY THE WORST FILM EVER MADE. IT'S NOT EVEN SO BAD THAT IT'S FUNNY. IT'S JUST PATHETIC.

reply

I saw on ebay they are selling props from the first movie!

reply

Yeah same here. When i saw it i saw great potential. But the acting was :(

reply

You know Bob...I mean "Routine"... you may be swaying me with your argument about KK..and his utter lack of talent....I would like to see the films you have written and directed so that I may take some object lessons from a real filmaker.

Just post the IMDB urls for them and I'll take it from there.

I assume I can pick up a copy up in Blockbuster or rent one from Netflix?

Cheers,

Frank

Hell, there are at least three SCARECROW movies now, aren't there? So why should anyone be surprised? If something makes a profit, they start thinking franchise. That's just the way it is any more.

>>It really doesn't get any worse than Kevin Kangas. It's like he's living that movie 'Trading Places'

to whomever wrote that... Do you think Kevin's some millionare and on the cover of major magazines? I'm assuming he's making way too little money to have earned the vitrol you're spewing. I'm another indy filmmaker. I signed a deal on my feature, and might make its budget back if I'm lucky. A somewhat similar situation to Kevin. We do it out a passion for making films, whether you happen to like those films or not is a different story. Hopefully, if the audience is there we can moving on to bigger and better work. And for the record, from what I know of Kevin, I do think he's an all right guy.

reply

I'm probably one of the few that was impressed with what they did with the first one on such a low budget.

reply

You are the only one. Billy-bob, I am right here with you, man. Nobody knows what we go through, brother.

reply

I think it's hilarious how "indie" film makers (read posh little art school graduates with more money than talent) hide behind the "this movie is worth it just because it exists and we had the balls to make it and you don't understand and if you think you can do better why don't you go ahead then?" school of defense.

The reason there are more critics than film-makers is a) most critics can't get into art school because all the posh kids go there and pretend to be poor and tortured. And b) don't have easy access to a film camera and a bunch of volunteers.

I put it down, here and now, that if anyone would be prepared to give me the exact same amount of money as this piece of crap movie was made for, I could do a far, far better job.

For what it's worth, I thought the pathetic camera work (what's with that weird blue bit half way through?) and the laughable makeup (ever seen that Simpsons when Homer invents a gun for putting on makeup?) pushed this beyond the so bad it's good category into the so bad it's dreadful group.
