It was obviously not the greatest movie of all time and the acting wasn't great in the slightest but....... Rose Mcgowan's acting was pretty dang awesome I didn't even know it was her till i looked up who that woman was. I'm not dumb i can usually spot these things but she gave off none of her usual signs and she completely changed the way she talked for the movie cuz that would have been a dead giveaway she has a unique way of sounding when she talks. I know she was in heavy makeup basically the whole film but her voice and mannerisms 'if not for her acting' would have been an easy bang dead giveaway. Not to mention she lost alot of weight !

She was the only memorable thing in this movie. I suspected it was her but then I thought it was a younger actress who looked a little like her. Amazing how young she can still look. She looks like she's in her early twenties in this.

I thought Rose McGowan was rather creepy as the witch Marique but she seemed a little sleepy in her performance.

I thought she was really bad: unconvincing, hammy, and stilted performance.

but a plus is that she actually looked the best she has in years in this movie. She should keep the look.

I didnt' mean her acting was completly awesome i was saying for her she did a great job and i was amazed at how different she looks now she is definetly alot skinnier she didn' look like herself at all. I think i prefer the bigger Rose though she was gorgeous with a little weight on her.

Why is it whenever someone says "with all due respect", they really mean "kiss my ass"?

I thought her acting was horrible too and her voice change is not that good or unique either. She changes her voice in the same way in Charmed when she plays an evil character....

I thought her character's design was cool, she was like a cross between the Queen of Hearts and Freddy Krueger.

I agree she was lovely, great makeup, costume, body and everything. It wasn't a masterpiece of acting, but slightly better then everyone else in this movie.

I watched this movie just because she was in it. Now I loved the movie regardless of her being in it and I actually enjoyed the concept of her character and the unique look but I didn't think she acted any different to how she does in all her other roles. She did an alright job though. Nothing I would bang home about though.

Funny you should talk about "the way she talked"...

I finally got around to watching this movie a second time and every once in a while, she'd say something and I thought "damn...I know that voice..who is that?"

Took me over half the movie (a second time) to figure out it was Mcgowan.

(I'm not dumb either...lol)

Pretty cool job.

I thought it was Christina Ricci for the 1st half of the movie before the voice gave Mcgowan away.
