Great movie but I have some regrets for the rewritten script

First of all, this movie deserves rating 9. I think it will be 10 if the screenwriter did not miss these circumstances from the novel:

- Liesel delivered laundry but came home with the amount of money less than expected a little bit. Rosa thought Liesel had spent that money for buying food. Rosa punished Liesel with a soup ladle.

Then Liesel confessed to use the small amount of money for sending letters to her birth mother. Rosa was brought to tears.

- Liesel and Rudy robbed fruits from farmers. The screenwriter could have removed some violent scenes on this circumstance. But he should have kept at least one scene for this funny memory.

- Ilsa was aware of the book thief so she intentionally open a window for Liesel to climb into the book room. This is very important. The screenwriter must have explained why a window of the mayor's house was always opened in the winter.

- Liesel was whipped by a German solider when she tried to find max in a stream of Jew.

----------------------------------------------

I appreciate the director's efforts to make new ideas for the movie. And these new ideas are very good.

But why didn't he supplement thorny circumstances into it while Hubermann family was hiding a Jew? This will make the audiences flutter and absorbed.

Anyways, The Book Thief is one of best movie I've ever seen.

How do you think?
