I saw my life in this movie! Plz Tell me if there is similar movies...

As I am watching this movie, and feel each moment and scene.. I lived days like those days.. Iraq at Saddam time was the same exact as Germany at Hitler's time.. Something makes me wonder: Was Saddam affected by Hitlar? Did he want to be just like him? My mom told me that the government came to their neighborhood to search all the houses if anyone hidden an Iranian there and many got shot just because of speaking!
Then the scene of the shelter! Remember how we escaped from Baghdad under fire.. And many many scenes which are so similar to what happened in Iraq ... I'm kindda shocked that Germany also had those hard times...

My question: Please If you know similar movies like this one, Just type me the name .. I'd be so thankful....

Amy-- You might also like Jakob the Liar with Robin Williams. The little girl in it and Liesel in this movie especially are very similar.

You might want to try Life is Beautiful. Similar themes. Won an oscar.

Another one is called The Bicycle Thief aka Bicycle Thieves. It has been a while since I have seen it and can't remember much of the details but that one came to mind. I think you'll like it.
