New Episode 'Spoilers'

Little disappointed with tonight's episode cause it was a filler episode. Nothing wrong with the episode, just the gang having some fun but nothing really happened to advance the plot. I guess I'm just still afraid were going to get Shakugan no Shana 2 treatment for season two of Haruhi where basically nothing happens for the first half of the season. I did enjoy the opening though, very old school Batman.

I'm disappointed. After KyoAni trolled everyone for three years, they return with this. WTH?

I was also little disappointed with the episode. The Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody was amazing, but this was an ok episode at best. The lack of plot advancement is one thing but I felt there was too much focus on fanservice and the whole episode felt cheaply done - the lack of movement in the pool scenes with a lot of people and the static images during the bug hunting. I would simply expect better from such show.

However from what I've heard this was only first half of the Endles Eight story and the next part should "blow you away". I have a basic idea what is going to happen because I've read bits of spoilers over the past years and it surely sounds interesting. Don't lose your hopes yet.

I actually really liked it! I dont' know. Sometimes I like the filler, or more quieter slice of life episodes. And this one, I think was exceptionally good. It had a good paste, not too slow or dragging on things. It was very etertaining, light hearted, funny, and a drastic change of mood from the last episode. I dont' know, I think thats what makes this series so special; how they're able to blend everything from drama, fantasy, sci-fi, slice of life themes so well together w/o having it be forced or awkward. Were there not these quiet episodes in the first season? Like episode 14?

I dont' know, if there was a drop in quality in story telling or whatnot, I didn't notice it.
:D I'mloving the second season so far.

It wasn't filler, and it gets so much worse. By the end you will beg for filler, anything to break the repetition with only small differences. I genuinely fell bad for a fictional charcter, namely yuki.
