This show reminds me of Fairly Odd Parents

I don't know why it does. Did it remind anyone else of the Fairly Odd Parents??

in a way it does
which is probably why i enjoy it. that and one of my fav VAs voices the main character.

at first i thought i was going to be dumb because of the name title
"The Replacements" i was like, that sounds like a bad name hurtful name for the show

turns out after i watched it. it was dang funny! and there is a bit of moral in each ep.

There is a vague resemblance, I admit. It reminds me of the earlier days of FOP in its humor. I can only hope that the writers can keep up the momentum.

BTW, it is so nice to find a positive thread about this show with people who actually watch it talking about its merits.

the "solve your problems easy"
is a commonly used formula.
depending on the writers and actors, regardless of the common theme
its charm eventually works on you. at least for me it did lol

i loved the ep were the girls copied Riley. she stands on a table to yell that the girls can be different individuals and free to choose how they want to be. one girl stood on the table and yelled at Riley that being an individual, she can choose who she wants to copy. it was just funny to me cause its contradicting but correct at the same time

what i didnt really like is the obviously new voices for the Flamco guy and the Father. unless i am hearing wrong.

No. It's always been Jeff Bennett (Conrad Fleem) and Daran Norris (Dick Daring) doing the voices.

And it's interesting that you cited "The Means Justify the Trend". The Fleemco people meeting the replacement is not only original, but screamingly hilarious.

reply

Yeah, it does, but not in a good way, plus it's boring.
