Offensive 'canadian' episode
That was so offensive. We dont own animals and drink syrup all day and say"eh" after everything was we do not wear cowboy hats, only at stampede.
Anyone else found this offensive? Goshes it pissed me off so SO much!

It's not supposed to be taken literally. It's just a cartoon. There's a ton of cartoons that do this exact same thing. Have you ever seen "South Park"? They rip on Canadians all the time!
shareit's called satire. Even movies play up stereotypes and various other things. I can think of a few movies that do things like that.
OH, the Hot Shots movies for starters. I'm middle eastern and I died laughing at the call signs for the pilots of the middle easterners that the guys were battling.
I think its aboot time canadians are shown a little more respect! Also people that think that making fun of the way people talk have no idea what they are talking aboot.
shareWell people talk *beep* about Americans all the time too. Get over it.
shareTo be honest, 'Politically Correct' people in the media slam anything mildly offensive on primetime shows, yet mild offensive material is broadcast on 'childrens' TV all the time and goes unnoticed.
I like many Disney shows (not this one) and have noticed many stereotypes PC people will definatly slam in soap operas.

DEMIGODS FTW!
Part of what's so funny about making jokes about Canadians is that Canadians are generally indistinguishable from US Americans, except maybe a more mellow culture with a barely noticeable accent. It therefore becomes funny if you exaggerate "eh" and "aboot" and lampoon a traditional Canadian export like syrup. See what I mean? If that's all anyone could find to make jokes about, that's quite a compliment!
