In the last episode... spoilers

What was the terrorist guy doing (can't remember his name) on the moon? He was about to go down a ladder, but was interrupted by the girl who was born on the moon. After talking to her briefly he walks away from her and that's that. Was he going to blow something else up? They never showed! Anyone have any clue?

there's a lot of stuff like that in the show that really harms it.
Like how with such good characters and great world building did they let this show end at 26 episodes? So much plot thrown aside for a quick easy end. The second half of this show really lost its focus and rushed the story.
