The interrupting thing is extremely annoying.

I hadn't noticed, and when he does butt in, it's generally because the person he's interacting with has gotten their main point across, and he wants to counter it before he forgets his thought, and also to prevent them from reinforcing a nonsense answer by "speechifying".
