About The Ending

A Pure Shocker. Its like a great promo for "The Constant". On the other hand I just hope the Series doesn't follow this pattern.

I have to say, while it was great, it was a pretty big cop-out. I was expecting him to end up on the island somehow. Maybe it's because I don't quite understand it; so did the game ACTUALLY happen and there's some sort of time-warp, or was it all a dream?

So when he woke up and Lisa was alive, does he remember everything about the 60 something days he had already lived? If so, couldn't he just tell Jack or Locke and prevent a lot of the disasters? Like Claire getting taken, the others, and the dharma stations.

Go here: www.timelooptheory.com/the_timeline.htm

Read that and you'll understand the end of this better. But be warned it is so plausible that it may ruin the entire series for you.

It's an interesting read even if it is just a theory but it's the best theory I've read so far.

Hope it helps.

Can someone tell me the ending? I really can't be bothered to play this game.

I can't be bothered to reply to your thread.

The ending reminds me of the sixth season of "Lost" when everyone is that limbo alternate-universe.

Does the last cut scene suggest that Laslow is having some sort of premonition. Or is he time traveling?

I came here because I'm confused too.

That's what my brother is worried about. He said he'll be angry if that happens on the show. I hope they do another video game as either one that replicates the series when it is finally finished or as a sequel to this one that lets us actually decide whether our character stays on the island or leaves and goes home.

I like the time travel theory and all...but the producers have SPECIFICALLY said the islanders did not...and will never.. encounter time travel. What Desmond does isn't really time travel...because only his mind goes back....not his body.

reply

technically it was time travel. but only his consiousness was transported

Doesn't anybody understand it's all possible because of Wibbly-Wobbly-Timey-Wimey stuff?

Or else, just say a wizard did it. Makes about as much sense as anything else on the show.
