How did you hear of this movie?

It is suprising how many ppl post on this thread when it was in theatres in such a limited release and you have to order the dvd online. I know about it cause I was an extra in it, but how did YOU learn about this movie? Did you like it? I loved it

I was looking up credits for the company I work for and saw this listed. Actually the PDF was titled for WE OWN THE NIGHT, but the info inside was for this. But our company name was in it, so I checked it out.

it was in my On Demand menu.

I was looking up movies with Evan Rachel Wood

I saw the trailer at an arthouse theater.

I loved the director's previous film House of Sand and Fog (2003) so I was looking what he will do next.

Just now from looking at Uma's filmography... ... I'd vaguely heard she was doing a movie with the 'House of Sand & Fog' guy, based on this subject-matter, but the title is terrible so I kinda forgot all about it... Can't tell you what I thought because I haven't watched it yet, so I'll come back when I have!

My girlfriend watched it and told me about how she was confused by it and wanted me to watch it with her and help her figure it out.

I decided to give it a look - first on cable, then bought the DVD - based on Mick LaSalle's enraptured review in the San Francisco Chronicle. Also the fact that Uma Thurman was in it was another deciding factor, but I think LaSalle was my main influence. Great Film!! and I also rediscovered what a compelling actor Brett Cullen is. I think he and Uma should team up again.

It was on one of the Showtime channels on cable; I had heard of it somewhere and it sounded interesting.

I also watched it on Showtime by accident, it came on after a movie I happened to be watching. Very pleasantly surprised! I really enjoyed the movie.

I just happened to see it on Showtime. Uma Thurman and the synopsis of the movie were deciding factor in my tuning in. These kind of movies that blur reality I tend to rank among my favorites.

IMPAwards gave it an award for best reflection or something lol, and I looked it up here.
