O.K., I'm being facetious. But the shooter said he was only going to shoot one - so what if both girls had said 'shoot her'?
And another thing, I think this movie is kind of sexist in the way it has the girls just passively standing there like lambs waiting for the slaughter. And they were both bigger than the little twerp!
When he changed clips, they should have lept on him! Geesh!
I totally agree..while he was changing clips, both times they showed him doing this..I was like, kick him in the nuts and beat the crap out of him! lol..I got so mad that they just stood there. I mean obviously you don't really know what you would do in that situation, but you gotta think that if you just stood there doing nothing you were definately going to die, so why not try and fight him.
shareWell they had just seen him shoot their teacher, they knew he wasn't going to hesitate to kill them if they tried something, plus they were scared *beep* they had a guy telling them only one was going to walk out alive. You can't really judge how they reacted because most people would freeze up to if they were in that situation, but you never know until you're there, which hopefully you never are

There are plenty of movies where a male has had the same reaction to such a situation, and frankly, it's realistic.
I might have said to him "If someone in this room has to die, it's going to be you."

I was totally expecting some reference to Jesus Christ's own teaching: "there is no greater love than to give one's life for our brother (sister, in this case..)

Perhaps at the later funeral, but the movie has a different ending..
Excellent film, saw it on TV the other night. Will definitively watch it again !
