How many people think "3" is better, or how many people think "Dale" will be better? I personally think "Dale" will be better.

Anything is better than 3... that movie was very over done and this one with have the input and comments of the people who really knew him.
sharedocumentarires are usually always better than dramatic movies based on people
it will tell all of earnhardt's story i will be looking forward to seeing it,
in detail next month i will not be able to wait to see it!
I'm going to be seeing it the week of January 21 in Charlotte as part of the annual media tour...I'll post what I think of it either in my column or here, or maybe both :-)
shareI cannot say because I have not seen 3, nor am I a nascar/dale fan by any means.
However.. I have seen the first 12 minutes of this film, a friend of my is doing the color film transfer work on it and is finishing this week.
So from that much I can say that it is a movie I'd like to see in its full length, despite my lack of natural interest in nascar/dale. From the first 12 minutes I know it is a well told story and it is dramatic. Paul Newman's vo is great.
Movie might not be as good for somebody who already knows the story of dale, but since I know little to nothing about him or his history, just that he died in 2001, it is a very gripping story.
I enjoyed "3",but this seems like it will be better with more actual footage and media than what "3" had.
shareI definitely think Dale will be the best depiction of this Seven-Time Winston Cup Champion. 3 was good, but let's face it. 3 was a made for television ESPN movie. I have 3 in my DVD collection and the best part of that DVD was the actual race footage clips on the bonus disc. This movie will run circles around "3" beacuse look at who it's created by...DEI itself! I wouldn't throw away 3 for those of you who did buy it, but plan on adding this movie as the real Dale Earnhardt documentary. I say, it's about time! This will be a fitting tribute to a man whose life deserved a film like this years ago.
