was it becasue of dale's death that his son dale jr. went into Nascar racing? (to bring on the dale legacy?)
shareNo. Dale Jr. was racing a few races in cup in 1999 and later went on to drive full time in the year 2000. His father died in 2001. So they both had some races under their belts racing against each other.
