WHERE are the sniper rifles???
I am probably 20% through the Single Player campaign and I have not been given one or picked one up. Are they further along in the campaign? Thanks
shareYou play a sniper mission, much like the previous games.
But you never use them in regular combat, if that's what you're asking. You use them in specific parts, like when doing an rescue mission for the little Dutch boy, Peter.
That sucks. I was hoping you could just pick one up at any time because that would help a lot. Instead of doing all of the flanking crap I could just pick them off. Oh well. Thanks for the info.
sharewhat saad sa said isn't true. You can pick up sniper rifles on a couple of the later missions and use them on those regular missions. It is pretty much limited to 2-3 missions tho.
shareI picked one up in one of the early missions! very hard to notice once you find it though
shareyep i found one really early on too.. unfortunately i found it on one of the dead germans after i had cleared the field (with the wrecked glider.. it's near the little wooden shed thing that you pass by heading towards the plane in the field), then the level cleared so i didnt get a chance to use it :/
but there's a really cool visual effect where the scope will show a refracted image of the world through it while you're walking around with it at the hip.
