SPOILERS: Why at the End...

Why at the end did the cops have a roadblock set up? Did someone send them after the gang since they stole a car? Seems thin, as the cops would be kind of busy with the riot & aftermath.

I thought that because it's a roadblock, not a border checkpoint. Plus the cops want her hands up, so they clearly either recognized her, or knew something violent had happened nearby. They wouldn't have known about the crashed car in the pit, either.

Someone said in another post something about the end cops being German. If so, what would they be doing in France?

Yasmin was still apparently close to the family's home, or at least the mine complex. It looks like that's what's in the background in some of the last shots.
