Family survives an attack by a killer...

As if reliving his previous relationship, David moves in with the new family, newly in love. Michael and his girlfriend begin to unravel the dark and spooky past of the ideal stepfather and husband-to-be.
Clearly and without telling the back story that made David the murderer, the remake of the Stepfather trilogy shows quite well how a normal family escapes the attacks of a murderer. Perhaps one should have reacted more violently beforehand to prevent the murders?
